Over the years there have been several moves between Estádio do Bessa and Estádio da Luz. In recent seasons, the transfers flow has slowed down, but if we go back in time and we make an analyzes since the beginning of the century (year 2000) we realize that many players represented both Benfica and Boavista.
In the research work we narrowed down the research to the beginning of the century, but the player transfers between the club from Oporto and the eagles began long before, with names such as João Alves, Carlos Manuel, Isaías or Jorge Gomes – the first Benfica foreigner player –, just to name but a few.
