The "Benfiquistas" Bruno Coelho and Raúl Campos switch the focus to Saturday's away match against the rival.
05 October 2017, 19h29
Benfica was “more aggressive" in the second half of the Honor Cup final played this Thursday at Pavilhão Multiusos de Odivelas, but that was not enough to avoid a 2-1 loss against Sporting (1-2).
“We entered the game on the back foot and conceded two goals. It was an intense match. The Championship will be competitive; it will be decided by details. That is what we are here for” said the captain Bruno Coelho.
“We had good goal chances, but we were not able to score. We will keep working to be stronger on Saturday”, said Raúl Campos, switching the focus to the derby away at Sporting.
