The Benfica squad switches the focus to the game from Matchday 10 of Liga NOS, at Estádio da Luz.

The home game against Feirense, which is scheduled for Friday at 7:00 pm, continues to be prepared to detail at Caixa Futebol Campus, in Seixal, where the group led by Rui Vitória will perform another training session on Thurday at 10:00 am, behind closed doors.

During the evening, at 7:00 pm, at the Press Room of Estádio da Luz, Benfica's coach, Rui Vitória, makes the preview of the game that opens Matchweek 10 of the competition.

Only after the match against Feirense will the Four-time Champions switch focus to the clash with Manchester United, at Old Trafford, on October 31st, for Matchday 4 of the Champions League group stage.

Trained at Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Renato Sanches returned home in August 2024, on a one-year loan from PSG. Throughout the 2024/25 season, the midfielder made in Benfica played in 21 games and scored 1 goal, making a significant contribution to the club's 8th League Cup victory. SL Benfica wishes Renato Sanches all the best. Benfica fought until the end for a different outcome in the last 16 of the Club World Cup, but after extra time they fell to Chelsea (1-4), thus ending their journey in the first edition of the competition in the United States of America. In a game that was interrupted in the 86th minute due to the threat of a thunderstorm and ended almost five hours after the kick-off, Di María leveled the score at 90'+5' (1-1), taking the match into 30 minutes of extra time, during which time the result hung in the balance for the English at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
