The European round starts with the volleyball at Pavilion n. º 2

Vinhedo, setter, claims that Benfica will prepare themselves in the best way possible for this European clash, because the victory is the only thing that matters to the team led by José Jardim.

“We have videos of the opponent, we study and train upon that. I'm sure it is a team with quality, they are not in the Challenge Cup by chance, but Benfica always has to win.”, stressed Vinhedo to BTV.

“We want to take another step in the journey”

José Jardim, the coach of Benfica's volleyball team, points out that the players have to reaming focused in the match against Holding Graz, because the goal is to move forward in the competition.

“We have to be focused in every game, but even more at the international level, and we clearly want to take another step forward in this journey”, stated the coach.

“The important thing is to win. When you win, you have extra motivation. I also want to make an appeal to the Benfiquistas: we know we have a football match at 7:45 pm [Benfica-Basel] and our game is at 5:00 pm; come early and support the volleyball team”, invited José Jardim.
