In the presentation of the most recent new signing from the women's football team of the Reds, the vice-president of Benfica, Fernando Tavares, explaining the signing made and contextualized the Club's bet on women's football.

“We are here to present Ana Vitória. From the point of view of new signings, today is the closure of the cycle that began a year ago when we presented Dani [Neuhaus], our first new signing. Ana Vitória is the icing on the cake of our new signings. She is an 18-year-old Brazilian player. I want to emphasize that, in addition to the investment we have made in the Brazilian player, we have also invested in youth. Increase the investment made in the Portuguese player, particularly in young women”, he revealed.

“We signed a champion, a winner, with a lot of leadership and extraordinary quality. Today she is considered to be one of the greatest references in women's football in the world. She comes from a great club, Corinthians. She is used to winning, she has many titles, namely the Copa Libertadores, which she won at the age of 17. We are talking about an important new signing for the women's team of Benfica”, added Fernando Tavares.
