The National Team will play the final stage of the first edition of the Women's Futsal European Championship, between February 15 to 17, at the Pavilhão Multiusos de Gondomar. Among the 14 players named by the national coach, five are from Benfica, the most represented club.

Ana Catarina Pereira, Inês Fernandes, Janice Silva, Sara Ferreira and Ana Sofia Gonçalves (Fifó) were the five "benfiquistas" chosen by Luís Conceição.

The Portuguese national squad will face Ukraine in the semi-final scheduled for February  15, while Spain will lock horns with Russia in the other semi-final, scheduled for the same day. The Euro final is scheduled for Sunday, February 17.
