Hugo Miguel, a referee from AF Lisboa, was appointed by the Refereeing Committee of the Portuguese Football Federation to whistle the Sporting-Benfica match for the 2nd leg of the Portuguese Cup semifinals, at 8:45 pm this Wednesday, at Estádio José Alvalade.
Goalkeepers: Mile Svilar and Ivan Zlobin;
Defenders: Jardel, André Almeida, Rúben Dias, Grimaldo and Corchia;
Midfielders: Zivkovic, Fejsa, Samaris, Pizzi, Gabriel, Gedson Fernandes, Rafa and Taarabt;
Forwards: Seferovic, Jonas, João Félix and Jota.
The coach Bruno Lage has three players unavailable due to injury.
"It will be a match that gives us the opportunity to fight for a title. We are at halftime and winning with a short 2-1 result, and we must be at our best level", claimed the coach of Benfica.
In the 1st leg match, on February 6, at Estádio da Luz, Benfica won by 2-1, with a goal from Gabriel and an own-goal from Ilori; Bruno Fernandes pulled one back for the lions. The eternal derby returns to bring Lisbon to a halt. The Reds have already played 305 matches against Sporting and have the upper hand in the duel: 132 triumphs against 108 losses. The Club is already the record holder in presences and finals won: 36 and 26, respectively.
