René Toft signs a 2-year deal
The Danish international helped his country to win the World Cup at the beginning of this year.

The Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that has reached an agreement with the athlete René Toft Hansen to join the handball team in the next two years. The 34-year old experienced pivot, is currently playing for the Hungarians of Veszprém.
"I didn’t know much about Benfica, but after talking to Carlos Resende and visiting the Club the first impression was good. It seemed very professional, with great facilities, all that a player needs to get some good results. The Portuguese handball is improving and I’m excited to be a part of it”, he said to the official website.
