André Almeida confesses his “revolt” by the elimination in Europa League– after the away defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt (2-0).

“It’s normal to feel the revolt because we were better. I think we are better than a great team like Eintracht Frankfurt, with fantastic players. We got to give them the merit too, but we were superior. We did our job but some external factors limited us”, said the Benfica’s defender.

Benfica is already focused in Liga NOS, competition where there are five finals left to play. The next one is right on Monday, at home against Marítimo.

“Time to get some rest, to clear the mind and move forward, because there's a match to win on Monday”, he remembered.

Under-23: images from the victory of the 1st Revelação Cup

Coming from a 2-0 victory in the first leg, Benfica U-23s won 2-4 at Torreense on Saturday, May 31, clinching the Revelação Cup, their first title in the competition. Tomás Cruz, Rodrigo Rêgo, who scored twice, and Jelani Trevisan scored the goals for the team led by Vítor Vinha. See here the best images of the red celebration.
