Benfica's American forward Micah Downs was considered the MVP of round 10 of the 2nd phase of the Portuguese Basketball League, after racking 31.5 valuation points.

Micah Downs scored 27 points in the Reds' triumph over FC Porto (76-73), adding nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and an efficacy of 89% (eight in nine) from the free throw line to his display. 

The excellent display in round 10 also earned the red basketball player the presence in the best five.

At the Estádio da Luz, Benfica battled for victory until the last second against Sporting in the 33rd and penultimate matchday of the Liga Betclic 2024/25,but ended up having to share the points (1-1). Aktürkoğlu scored the goal for the eagles, finishing off a brilliant play by Pavlidis. The title will be decided in the final round.

Maximum concentration on the derby
