Ederson and Bernardo Silva are to be congratulated! The two players nurtured at Caixa Futebol Campus won the 2018/19 edition of the Premier League, playing for Manchester City.

Ederson and Bernardo Silva were used a lot by the Spanish coach during the season. The goalkeeper played the 38 matches of the Premier League and conceded 23 goals; the midfield made 36 appearances, scored seven goals and delivered seven assists.

Also Caixa Futebol Campus graduates, Nélson Semedo (Barcelona) and João Cancelo (Juventus), are already national champions in Spain and in Italy, respectively. In Germany, another of Europe's top five leagues from (Big Five), Renato Sanches (Bayern Munich) is on the verge of celebrating the national title – there is one round left to play in the Bundesliga and the Bavarian side has a two-point lead over Borussia Dortmund.

An unforgettable Children's Day

This Tuesday, May 27, the Benfica Foundation and Sport Lisboa e Benfica marked World Children's Day with the participation of more than 1,500 young people.  Between the Estádio da Luz pitch and the pavilions, there were fun, educational and sporting activities, with the contribution of the various sports and the partners of the Club and the Foundation. Lively, with everything designed to stimulate the children and provide them with different experiences, this was a “very special” moment, as Jorge Miranda, director of the Foundation, told BTV. "We couldn't miss the opportunity to have an unforgettable day," he said. Representing the Almeirim Karting Circuit, Tiago Evaristo stressed the importance of “road education”.
