Seferovic: top scorer award in his hand and plunge into the Reconquest

In the 29 rounds he played in the 2018/19 Liga NOS 2018/19, Seferovic turned the opponent penalty area into his space of influence and decision with the number 14 jersey of the Champion Benfica, finishing the season as the top scorer.

"They were all special and important. For every goal scored, confidence increased, but I don't have any favorites. It’s difficult to score goals in Portugal because the teams defend very well. Benfica always plays to win and it’s not easy to score goals in the Championship."

"Here, we have players to take penalty kicks: Pizzi, Jonas... they're players who've been at Benfica for more years. I like to take penalties, but that's the way it is in football: I have respect for all players. If I stay here many here, I'll also take penalties..."

"I’ll keep this number. I’m at Benfica with the number 14 and it is with it that I want to continue at the Club. Proposals? I’m happy here, I have everything I want at Benfica. It is good for me."
