Benfica's team dominated in every aspect. Won the three stages of the National Championship and scored 40 goals in a total of 35 matches played in 2017/18.

There were 35 matches in the season, divided by three phases: 11 in the regular phase, 14 in the 2nd phase and 10 in the Championship round. In total, the Eagles scored 140 goals (59 in the regular phase, 42 in 2nd phase and 39 in the Championship round).
It is worth highlighting the 25 straight matches scoring in (11 in the regular phase +14 in the second phase) on the part of Benfica. In individual terms, the special emphasis for the trio of Gonçalos: Ramos, Oliveira and Gomes who have racked up 21, 17 and 15 goals, respectively.

The Eagles conceded only 23 goals in 35 matches (0,66 goals by match). For these numbers largely contributed the five matches without conceding goals in the regular phase (between rounds 6 and 10).
But in the long run, the title goes to the team who wins the most matches. In this particular aspect, Benfica was very effective, bagging the three points in 31 of the 35 matches played.
