Marta Pen was the runner-up in the 1.500 meters race of the Barcelona Meeting, in Spain, this Wednesday, beating her personal record.
The Benfica athlete finished the distance with the mark of 4.04,53 minutes and was surpassed by the Irish Ciara Mageean, who did 4.04,13 minutes. The Australian Linden Hall (4.04,88 minutes) rounded off the podium.
Four days after running the 400 meters with a personal record, Marta Pen was able, with this mark, to improve the 4.05,69 minutes she brought since June, when she ran the distance in Nashville, in the United States.
