Cervi: “We are with the best expectation for the new season”

Franco Cervi spoke to the journalists before the afternoon working session this Thursday.

“I think it is important to get to know the new teammates. We got a victory, which is important. We are working to operate the best way possible”, he assured.

Asked to reveal if he has been helping the new signings, namely his countrymen Lema, Conti and Ferreyra, the number 11 guaranteed that that support is part of the working group routine.

“It always happens when new players arrived. When I arrived, I remember that I was also trying to adapt to a new reality. I try to help with everything possible. I wish them the best for the season, as well as for the entire group”, he said.

Cervi is starting is the third season with an eagle on his chest. He guarantees that he wants to improve every day, but without thinking about moving to another club.

“As a player, I always want to improve, but now I think about doing the best for the team and help it reach the objectives”, he underlined.

The Argentinean does not want to look back. There are new achievements to grab and that is the focus of the squad led by Rui Vitória.

“Last season is in the past. We are starting a new season with the best expectations. We hope to reach the end of the season with the goal achieved”, he wished.

To the Benfiquistas, he assured: “This Club deserves to end the season with titles and we will give everything to win them back.”
