Welcomed by the supporters upon arrival in Zurich

A training session behind closed doors, Friday morning, ended a week of work from the Benfica's professional football squad in England.

In the early afternoon, around 2:00 pm, the delegation left St. George's Park heading to the Birmingham airport, having Zurich as the final destination. It is in Switzerland, at 5:00 pm on Saturday, that the team led by Rui Vitória carries out the next friendly match against the Spanish side of Sevilla.

The departure in a charter flight towards Swiss soil happened around 5:00 pm and the arrival occurred before 9:00 pm, local time, less one hour in Mainland Portugal.

At the Zurich Airport, the team deserved a very special and warm welcome on the part of the Benfica fans, who greeted the athletes, with whom they had the opportunity to take photographs, apart from collecting autographs.

The scene repeated itself at the entrance of the hotel where the squad checked-in to have dinner and spend the night. Seferovic, who had his vacations postponed due to the participation in the 2018 World Cup (he reached the Round of 16), joined the group this evening.
