After the victory over Seville (0-1) back in Switzerland, the Benfica's squad flew in the early morning with the American city of Pittsburgh as destiny.

It is in the United States that, within the scope of preseason, Benfica will play two matches of the International Champions Cup (ICC), the first one right on Thursday, against Borussia Dortmund (1:05 am in Portugal).
