The five Benfica players who contributed for the U-19 national team success returned to Seixal and already worked in the B team.

The U-19 European Champions are back home! This Monday, João Filipe, Florentino Luís, José Gomes, Nuno Santos and Mesaque Dju deserved a guard of honor, made by their teammates and the coaching staff, when they were reintegrated in the works of the Benfica B squad, at Caixa Futebol Campus.
On July 29, with the five benfiquistas taking part in the European Championships final, the U-19 national team beat Italy after extra-time (3-4) and celebrated an unprecedented achievement in the national football.
Already integrated in the group, the newcomers listened to the lecture of the coach Bruno Lage, who is preparing the team B for the debut in the 2018/19 II Liga, scheduled for 6 pm on Saturday, August 11, at Caixa Futebol Campus, against Leixões.
