In Istanbul for the Champions League

The second leg of the Champions League 3rd qualifying round will be played on Tuesday in Istanbul. With no time to lose, the benfiquista delegation, after having started the day with a training session at Caixa Futebol Campus, left Lisbon around 8:30 pm and arrived in Turkey at the end on the day.

The trip was quiet, with the air connection between the Portuguese capital and Istanbul passing normally.

Still on Portuguese soil, at Humberto Delgado Airport there was space and time to take some photos with Benfica fans, who took the opportunity to greet the team and wish them good luck for the match at 7:00 pm on Tuesday (Portuguese time) at the Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium.

In the clash held at the Estádio da Luz, the eagles won by 1-0, with a goal from Cervi.
