Odysseas enjoyed seeing the Estádio da Luz full (more than 60 thousand spectators) in Benfica's debut in the Champions League group stage.

"We are looking forward to the next games. We want to win. Bayern is the favorite in this group. The points that we lost today we must win them in the next match", said the goalkeeper from the Eagles.

"It was really good to see the Stadium full, to have the supporters cheering for us. We will fight in the next games", guaranteed Odysseas.

"It is good to play in the Champions League, but it is still just a game. It is good to face top teams, but it is just one football match", stated the number 99 of the Eagles.

An unforgettable Children's Day

This Tuesday, May 27, the Benfica Foundation and Sport Lisboa e Benfica marked World Children's Day with the participation of more than 1,500 young people.  Between the Estádio da Luz pitch and the pavilions, there were fun, educational and sporting activities, with the contribution of the various sports and the partners of the Club and the Foundation. Lively, with everything designed to stimulate the children and provide them with different experiences, this was a “very special” moment, as Jorge Miranda, director of the Foundation, told BTV. "We couldn't miss the opportunity to have an unforgettable day," he said. Representing the Almeirim Karting Circuit, Tiago Evaristo stressed the importance of “road education”.
