“Above all, we feel that in certain moments we could have scored a goal. Our ambition was to win this match at home. We faced a very strong team but that never lowered our ambition. The ambition remains! We were able to create dangerous offensive plays, to have our opportunities but in the end, it all came down to efficacy. They scored the goals at the right moments; we, despite that, managed to keep the team connected, looking for the goal but unfortunately, we did not score. That was what dictated the outcome”, analyzed the young centre-back from the Eagles.

This Wednesday evening there were 60 274 fans at Estádio da Luz

I want to thank the presence of all the supporters! It is very important that they are connected with us, they help us to get excited and want to get far in this competition”, he said.
