There were announced, this Thursday, the awards for the Best Young Player of September in the professional competitions in Portugal. There are three players of SL Benfica among the distinguished.

The great emphasis goes to Jota, the attacker from SL Benfica, who, with 16,48% of the votes, racked up the award alluding to the II Division. In the second place of the podium appears another player that usually plays for the B team, Florentino Luís, with 15,61% of the preferences, while João Vigário, from Estoril, finished in the third place (14,88%).

With regard to the I Division, the winner of the Best Young Player of September is Tiago Sá, the goalkeeper from SC Braga (12,63%), followed by Chiquinho (Moreirense), with 12%, and Rúben Dias (SL Benfica), with 11,4%.

This Sunday, May 4, Benfica Campus' Field No. 1 was the stage for celebrating the 26th national Under-19 title. Needing just one point to celebrate, Benfica's U19 team became champions after a 2-2 draw against FC Porto in round 13 of the championship round, and lifted the trophy on the pitch, celebrating afterward with the fans who were tireless in their support for Luís Araújo's team.
