It is already next Thursday, October 25, that will be marked 15 years since the inauguration of Estádio da Luz. There are several initiatives taking place this week, within the celebrations, with special emphasis for the stadium tours, where there is inserted an exhibition and an autograph session.

Between October 23 and 28 there will be a temporary exhibition throughout the tour and with very special moments, alluding to the 15 years of the Cathedral. For example, in the players' dressing room, one of the most attractive places to meet, there will be present each one of the 15 jerseys associated to the 15 seasons at the Stadium.

On October 25, between 11:30 am and 12:15 pm, it will be carried out an autograph session close to the pitch, with the presence of the former players Nuno Gomes and Ricardo Rocha.

It will be only possible to see the exhibition and attend the autograph session with the purchase of the stadium tour ticket or a stadium and Benfica Museum-Cosme Damião tour ticket.

Two-time European champion, synonymous with the Sport Lisboa e Benfica mystique, José Augusto was honored on Sunday, April 13, the day of his 88th birthday. During half-time of the Benfica-Arouca match, on matchday 29 of the Liga Betclic, he was applauded by the Benfiquistas and thanked for the gesture from the Presidential Tribune. There, in the box, in the presence of President Rui Costa, among José Augusto's friends and family, Happy Birthday was sung to one of the undeniable names in the history of the Glorioso.

He's a two-time European champion, he's one of us!

The evening of April 14, Sunday, was marked by another beautiful and emotional moment. In the presidential box at the Estádio da Luz, at half-time of the Benfica-Moreirense match of round 29 of the Liga Betclic, two-time European champion José Augusto was honored as part of his 87th birthday, which he celebrated on Saturday. Congratulations, two-time champion!
