Benfica visits Bayern Munich, in a clash where only the win matters to keep dreaming with the qualification for the eighth-finals of the Champions League.
26 November 2018, 19h24
"We know what we have to do, the role we have to play to leave this ground with a win and that is what will do", he claimed, ensuring that the team is ready for the "different weather conditions ". "We adapt to it", he assured.
Rafa has scored seven goals this season: four in the League, two in the Portuguese Cup and one in the League Cup. "I don't grant much importance to personal balances, the important is the team and we will focus on that, that is what matters here", claimed the Portuguese international.
"With regard to Bayern, we know well what we have to do and what we can explore to create difficulties. Bayern is a great team, just as Benfica. We all go through bad spells, we know what that is only too well, but we are here to win that match. That is what we need ", stated the Portuguese international.
The winger guarantees that the group is focused on remaining in the Champions League and that no player is in Germany thinking about the Europa League.
"This question should not even be asked. No player is here to fight for Europa League, we are here to compete for the Champions League and that is what we will do. Fight to win the two matches that are left", he stressed.
O desafio da 5.ª e penúltima jornada do Grupo E da Liga dos Campeões está agendado para as 20h00 de terça-feira, no Allianz Arena, em Munique.
