🎥 Seferovic: "We work to score a lot of goals"

After facing Chivas from Mexico, Benfica plays against Fiorentina from Italy, in the International Champions Cup, at 8:00 pm on Wednesday (1:00 am on Thursday in mainland Portugal). Seferovic stresses that work is essential for the new season to be a success.

You represented Fiorentina in 2010/11. Is this re-encounter special?

Yes, it's a special. It was the first team I played outside my country [Switzerland]. That happened almost ten years ago. Now the coach is [Vincenzo] Montella, who I know. It will be a good match.

You scored one of the goals in Benfica's win over Chivas in the debut at the ICC 2019. How do you feel in this pre-season?

I'm fine, I'm working hard for myself and for everyone with the aim of scoring a lot of goals again. I feel good, happy.

With which player do you feel best in attack??

It's the same. In the last match I partnered up with Raul [de Tomas], I felt very well, comfortable. We're fine, we're working hard to score a lot of goals. We'll see.

What assessment can be made of this training camp in the United States, which ends on Sunday?

It's another world. We work hard, which is important for us to evolve. We've got two matches left and we're going to try to win them.

You were the top scorer of the 2018/19 Liga NOS 2018/19 with 23 goals. Is that a goal to repeat?

Now it's a new season. I would like to repeat it, but I have to work a lot for that. In the end we'll see.
