Haris Seferovic, a 27 -year-old striker (22.02.1992), arrived at Benfica in the 2017/18 season coming from Eintracht Frankfurt and since then he has been a key part of the red squad.
Last season, 2018/19, he carried out 51 matches for Benfica (with a total of 27 goals and 9 assists) and he was the top scorer of the Liga NOS, after scoring 23 goals essential for the Reconquest.
I'm very happy. I think everyone knows that I'm very happy here, I like living here, we have a very good team and I feel very good.
I want to do more than last year, but we must work hard to win titles. I want to be well, without injury and I hope I can score a lot more goals than the previous season.
We're progressing at all levels, in goals and quality. We have new players who know how we want to play and that's good. We'll see how it goes on Sunday in the first official match, which we want to win, but I think it was a good preseason. This club is like a family, the new players are adapting well to our game model, we are a team and we will continue to do a good job.
I didn't expect to see so many supporters, but now I can confirm that there are Benfiquistas everywhere. It was a very big surprise, it was incredible.
I really like being here in Portugal, living, playing. We're a very strong team technically, we play offensive football, that's why I really like this Championship.
We're just focused on ourselves. We worked really well this week to step onto the pitch on Sunday and win.
I hope I can score a lot more goals because the fans always demand that from us and we're here for that. We want to win everything.
I'd like to stay here till the end. Everybody knows that I really like being here, the team is very good and I hope to be able to continue for many years in this family.
