🎥 Bruno Lage: "I think we'll put in a great display"

Bruno Lage highlighted the collective work and explained in a press conference that the most important thing is for the team to get to tomorrow's game (August 4) as close as possible to the best that was done last season. "It turns out to be the result of the three victories we had in the tournament. For Benfica it's a huge prestige to have won this competition because of the names who competed in it, but for us the most important thing was our evolution and the work we did in the United States. We wanted to get to tomorrow's game [Sunday] as close as possible to the best we did last season."

Teamwork as a decisive factor

"We have to play as a team, that's the decisive factor. On both sides there are decisive, important and determining players who can decide a match, but I believe a team's work has to be the big goal to be able to win games."

Expectations for the match and the inclusion of Carlos Vinícius

"I think we'll put in a great display. All the players have rhythm and minutes played, the team has had very good behavior. We tried to get Vinícius closer to what our movements are, we had a lot of tactical work with video viewing because he has to understand the kind of moves we want him to make."
