Nuno Miguel Valente Santos, a 20-year-old midfielder/forward (02.03.1999), renewed his contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2024.

“It is a feeling of great happiness, it is always good to know that the Club has confidence in us. I have no words to describe what the club has done for me over the years I feel very grateful with this important step in my career”, he confessed.

He arrived at Benfica in 2013/14, coming from Boavista FC, as an Under-15 player. In his debut season, he became U-15 National Champion and in 2017/18, he was champion again, but this time with the U-19 squad.

“It's an indescribable feeling to be able to share the dressing room with the first team. I would like to thank the structure for the vote of confidence. It was a very positive balance to be able to make my debut at Estádio da Luz knowing that when I arrived here I had this dream, every time I went to see games at the stadium I had the dream and ambition to step on to the pitch one day and that happened, and it was very good”, he said.
