After 50 matches in the League, Seferovic want "many more"

Game 1: SL Benfica-SC Braga, 3-1

Estádio da Luz was full (58 826 spectators), on August 9, 2017, to welcome the 2017/18 edition of the Liga NOS. In the starting XI, one of the new faces was Seferovic – who was making his debut in Championship games – who, at 14’, scored the first goal of the match and for Benfica in the League. The reds ended up winning by 3-1, and there began an individual tally that, right now – with the 2019/20 season underway –, is at 28 goals scored in three seasons.

In 2018/19, he carried out 51 matches for Benfica (with a total of 27 goals and 9 assists) and he was the top scorer of the Liga NOS, after scoring 23 goals.

Game 25: SL Benfica-FC Porto, 1-0

One of the most anticipated matches of the season. On October 7, 2018, 61 567 spectators in the Cathedral to see the first clássico of the 2018/19 season. On matchday 7 of the competition, Benfica – with a solitary goal from Seferovic at 62' – overcame FC Porto in the league table and moved to the top spot with the same points as SC Braga.

Two days ago, Benfica kicked off the journey towards the main goal of the season: defending the league title. The reds won again by 5-nil - after the same result in the Super Cup – and Seferovic carried out his 50th match in the Primeira Liga.
