Gustavo Mendonça signs professional contract

Gustavo Pinto Mendonça, a 16-year-old midfielder (11.03.2003), penned a professional contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

This is Gustavo Mendonça's ninth season representing the Club and he arrived at Benfica Futebol Campus five seasons ago, coming from CFT Braga.

The U-18 player began his sporting career in 2010/11 at FC Amares.

He already six caps with Portugal youth national teams (four with the U-16 and with the U-17).
