António Veloso, the former SL Benfica captain, surprised and greeted the women's team at the end of the training session at Tapadinha.

In the role of reporter, Veloso picked up the BTV microphone in a relaxed way and collected the emotions and expectations of Pauleta, Ana Vitória, Catarina Amado, Yasmim and Lúcia Alves a few days away from the returned of the Liga BPI.

At 11:00 am on Saturday (October 12), SL Benfica plays round 3 of the Championship away at Estoril Praia.

On matchday 4, the Reds host Sporting at Estádio da Luz, in what will be the first official derby in the history of women's football (tickets here).

This Wednesday, December 13, at 8 pm, Benfica's women's football team will play an international match at Estádio da Luz, for the first time, when they host Eintracht Frankfurt on matchday 3 of Group A of the Champions League. Special new additions in the preparation for the derby

Benfica's women's football team trained this Monday morning, January 16, in the synthetic turf of Estádio da Luz, in preparation for the match against Sporting, for the quarterfinals of the Portuguese Cup. The session was attended by four special new signings, who, in addition to bringing some relaxation to the training, highlighted the work done by the two-time national champions in the sport and for the Club. Sérgio Rosado, Nélson Rosado, Mia Rose and Rui Porto Nunes did not forget the focus, the derby, and stressed, to BTV, that it will be "a good football match between two excellent teams", inviting fans to come to the Cathedral for the 3:00 pm game on Saturday, January 21. Members have free admission.

Return of the "Inspiradoras" to work

The Sport Lisboa e Benfica's women's football team returned to training this Tuesday, January 3, in Cova da Piedade, starting the preparation for the first official duel in the calendar year 2023, which will be against Torreense. The Inspiradoras have the game from matchday 10 of the Liga BPI scheduled for Sunday at 1 pm, at Parque Desportivo Maximino Santos, in Torres Vedras.
