Vinícius, the scorer of Benfica's second goal in Leipzig, highlighted the “excellent 90 minutes” of the eagles in Germany in the match the ended with a draw (2-2) that dictated the farewell from the Champions League.

“We're sad about the result, it's not what we wanted. We had a great match in the 90 minutes,...but in the injury time, things got complicated, got out of hand. We were confident, we did what the boss asked, mas, unfortunately, football has these things. We left this ground with the draw, but now we must think about the next Championship match [Marítimo] and move on…”, said the Brazilian forward.

“The important thing is to always score to help the team”, he highlighted.
