Jota: “Stay focused and work hard”
The young forward trained at Benfica Campus scored his first goal with the eagles' first team in the 1-1 draw against SC Covilhã.

A 1-1 draw at Estádio José dos Santos Pinto between SC Covilhã and SL Benfica, in Round 2 of the League Cup (Group B).
“Obviously the objective was to win, we play all matches to win, unfortunately today we didn’t manage to get the victory, but we cannot look back”, said Jota.
The forward trained at Benfica Campus, explained what went wrong this evening and highlights the goals.
“We started with the utmost seriousness, but sometimes things don’t go the way we want it, but we cannot lower our guard and we have to go after the result. That’s what we did, but unfortunately we didn’t manage to score the chances we had. Now we got to stay focused and work hard”, he declared.
