Bruno Lage, the coach of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, has named 18 players for the match of the last 16 of the Portuguese Cup.

The Benfica-Braga kicks off at 8:45 pm this Wednesday at Estádio da Luz.

Squad list

Goalkeepers: Ivan Zlobin and Odysseas;

Defenders: Tomás Tavares, Nuno Tavares, Jardel, Ferro, Rúben Dias and Grimaldo;

"The main objective of the academy is to develop the athlete with the Benfica methodology and combine the academic part with the athletic part," Ruy Castelo Branco told BTV. “Feeling and experiencing this on a daily basis, especially the energy of the Benfica Campus, is enriching,” he said, noting that the goal is to continue cementing the Club's values in the United States.
