Gabriel Araújo, a 17-year-old defender (05.05.2002), penned a professional contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

In the 2016/17 and  2018/19 seasons he became U-15 and U-17 National  Champion, respectively.

In the current season, Gabriel Araújo has amassed 11 matches with the U-19s in the National Championship, which handed the player the chance to make his debut with Portugal youth national teams. He has racked up 4 caps with the U-18s.
