The Estádio da Luz will be the stage for the 1st edition of the “Red Card to Racism” Festival. The event takes place on Monday, Feb 24, between 10 am and 4 pm.

PROGRAM

  • 9:30 am-10 am: reception of participants

  • 10 am-Noon: activities

  • Noon-1:30 pm: lunch

  • 1:30 pm-3:30 pm: activities

  • 3 pm-3:15 pm: delivery of the Ethics Flag to the President of Fundação Benfica (Foundation), Carlos Moia, by representatives of the PNED and IPDJ

  • 16h00: end

An unforgettable Children's Day

This Tuesday, May 27, the Benfica Foundation and Sport Lisboa e Benfica marked World Children's Day with the participation of more than 1,500 young people.  Between the Estádio da Luz pitch and the pavilions, there were fun, educational and sporting activities, with the contribution of the various sports and the partners of the Club and the Foundation. Lively, with everything designed to stimulate the children and provide them with different experiences, this was a “very special” moment, as Jorge Miranda, director of the Foundation, told BTV. "We couldn't miss the opportunity to have an unforgettable day," he said. Representing the Almeirim Karting Circuit, Tiago Evaristo stressed the importance of “road education”.
