After the match that dictated Benfica's elimination from the European competitions against Shakhtar, it is time to look at the domestic competitions.

"We've put in a great performance, but in the end, we didn't go through, we're not happy. We have to take the positive and improve what we did wrong and move on, together, now in the Championship and the Portuguese Cup", considered the 24-year-old Spaniard.

Faced with criticism towards the defense of the Reds, Grimaldo remembered that it is the best defense of the Liga NOS.

"We are the team with the fewest goals conceded in the Liga NOS. We have a defensive problem, but we are the best defense… The team is carrying out a great season and we must go on like this to win the national title and the Portuguese Cup", he claimed.
