David Tavares, the midfielder of SL Benfica's professional football squad, used his Instagram account to share a thought.

"Good morning! I hope you're all well and safe. There are moments in life that mark us and that we regret. I think it's happened to anyone of us before. But recognizing our mistakes only makes sense if it also helps us grow. In my case, I can assure you that this is what I always try to do: improve every day and learn from each of the wrong steps", wrote the midfielder.

"Thank you all! Take care and take care of your families. A hug", finished the Eagles' midfielder.
