Even before the return of Coaching Staff and Players to the facilities, the first step will happen tomorrow, Monday, April 27, when Bruno Lage, his assistants and the entire Professional Football Department will undergo the Diagnostic Test to COVID-19, in Seixal, in drive-thru system.
The following day, Tuesday (28), it will be the turn of Players and Family members to be tested, in a process that will take place in the Footballers' own homes.
The weekend that coincides with the announced end of the state of emergency will then be the return of the entire Football Department to Seixal, with the Players conducting a physical testing session there.
On March 4 (Monday) the Individual Training will start, which in the first two days will be preceded by clinical analyses. Training will take place with Players divided into four groups, with two of them working in the morning and the other two in the afternoon.
Players will continue to receive meals at home (lunch and/or dinner) and, whenever they are in Seixal, they will have at their disposal individual rooms, with private bathrooms, where they can equip themselves and take a bath, without the use of collective dressing rooms.
The context is very particular, but Sport Lisboa Benfica reaffirms that it wants to return to competitive action and clinch, on the pitch, 11 wins in the remaining 11 matches in the 2019/20 season.
