The restrictions on the national and international scene arising from the COVID-19 pandemic led Sport Lisboa e Benfica to determine the cancellation of the 2020 Elite Training Camps, an elite training program that takes place annually, between June and July, at Benfica Campus.

SL Benfica leaves to all those registered for the 2020 Elite Training Camps, as well as to the partners of this event, a special word of appreciation for the preference and trust they place in the programs of the Club, reminding that all information regarding the 2021 edition of Elite Training Camps will soon be available.

The 12th edition of the Elite Training Camps, which took place over the past four weeks, had a total of 268 participants, and the project developed at the Benfica Campus included, for the third time, a week especially dedicated to women's football. With 219 male and 49 female participants, the program with a focus on elite training gave the participants the opportunity to live the experience and methodologies practiced by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Youth Football.
