On June 13, Saturday, the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião carries out showcooking aimed at families with the presence of Chef Chakall.

The event takes place on the terrace located in the outer space of floor 2 of the Museum, starting at 6:30 pm and lasting approximately one hour.

The maximum capacity is five single-family groups and the price list according to the Museum's price list you can find here. Participants can also enjoy, as an option and after the event, a dinner at Luz Chakall restaurant for a special price of 10€ per person.

 Wook also joins the event by offering two books, autographed by the Chef, to the two best families at the quiz on former athletes, held during showcooking.

Another unforgettable evening at the stadium and museum

On the day of SL Benfica's 121st anniversary, Friday, February 28, the Estádio da Luz and the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião opened their doors once again for night visits. For the 3rd month running, Stadium & Museum By Night sold out with 750 people attending. Participants were surprised by the Cathedral's nocturnal illuminations and were presented with the Club's birthday cake. At the Museum, they were able to walk through the corridors of Benfica's glorious history, and it is worth noting that the writer André Pereira was present and offered some visitors portraits written in the form of poems. Another special Benfica evening, in communion between the Club's fans!

It was 60 years ago: memories of a historic Benfica-Real Madrid

José Augusto opened the scoring, António Simões made it solid with the fourth goal and Pérides helped fill the pitch in SL Benfica's biggest ever win against Real Madrid, 5-1 - which was also the meringues' first ever defeat in the European Cup. On February 24, 1965, in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the competition that would evolve into the Champions League, the Estádio da Luz hosted an iconic European night for the Glorioso. The three legends, 60 years later, listened to Emissora Nacional's commentary of the game and relived the magical moments in their own detail.

A historic moment... that enriches history!

This Tuesday, January 14, the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião reached a historic milestone! João Henriques, a fan of the club, was the 1 millionth visitor on his second visit to the facility, following his debut in 2018, when he celebrated his 12th birthday and his parents gave him a ticket. A resident of Seixal, he regularly attends matches at the Benfica Campus and, as a fervent fan, his favorite area of the Museum is the Eclectic Prided.  In addition to the moment that will go down in history, João also received some very special prizes...
