Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that the contract with the player Cláudia Pereira, aka Nina in the futsal world, has come to an end.

It was four seasons full of titles and the Club thanks Nina for her contribution so that the eagles’ hegemony in the sport could be a reality.

Benfica's women's futsal team won the League Cup for the 2nd time in its history. At the Pavilhão Multiusos de Gondomar, against Nun'Álvares, the eagles won by 4-1, with goals from Fifó (2), Janice and Raquel Santos.

US Youth Futsal learnt from a reference

SL Benfica hosted in the pavilions, on December 28 and 29, athletes from the USA national youth teams, men’s, and women’s, who were able to experience the eagles’ training methods. 100 players participated in an initiative praised by Brian Catrine, coach of the US Youth Futsal 2007 team. "It was a great experience, we learnt from one of the greatest futsal programs in the world", said, to BTV. "Benfica is a reference in terms of training and coaches’ quality", added Luís Estrela, technical coordinator of the women’s and men’s youth training Watch gallery here.
