n a competition model very different from the usual in the Diamond League, the Inspiration Games, with the participants divided by several tracks in various points of the globe, Taylor (world n.º 1) jumped in Florida, Craddock (n.º 5) in California, while Pedro Pichardo jumped in Lisbon, at Estádio Universitário.
"I felt really good in the first event of the year. Even with this pandemic issue, where I couldn't train in the best conditions and where I changed training locations several times, it was a great result. I am very happy", confessed the Portuguese athlete in statements with BTV.
"It was a little awkward. Jumping alone is like doing a practice, the emotion is not the same. I'm here alone, I have few people in the stands and the motivation is not the same without hearing the applause. Today, I wasn't at my best, but it was still a good event", explained Pichardo.
