The Benfica coach previewed the game from matchday 32 of the Liga NOS against V. Guimarães.
13 July 2020, 14h45
Which V. Guimarães team do you expect to host at Estádio da Luz? How is the squad reacting after the draw against Famalicão?
We are waiting for a team in the image of its coach, Ivo Vieira, who builds strong and competitive teams who having ball possession. So we' re expecting a Vitória [Guimarães] with that profile. On the other side, there will be a team looking for the victory and control the game, and that will try to score the goals to win. On the second question, the squad is reacting within what is normal from a draw, with the feeling of injustice and anger, because we felt that, by the opportunities created, we could get out of there with the three points, but just the balls that go in that count and we got out with a draw.
FC Porto can be crowned champion this round. Is this a concern for Benfica, who plays a day early, on Tuesday?
Being aware of the situation, our focus must be on a game at a time. That was the case with the Boavista match, that was the case with the Famalicão match and tomorrow [Tuesday] the focus is on V. Guimarães and the goal is to win. Our focus is on what we can control, in this case, the game against V. Guimarães.
