Nélson Veríssimo: "We're preparing this match with the utmost seriousness"

Benfica faces CD Aves this Tuesday (9:15 pm). Nélson Veríssimo admits he expects "difficult game", but guarantees an "extremely focused team" in the match from the penultimate round (33) of the Liga NOS. 

How are you approaching and preparing this game with the CD Aves, considering the opponent's current situation and the risk of the match not taking place?

We are preparing it with the utmost seriousness, as it has been normal in the preparation of any of the other games. Obviously we've been following Aves' situation, but what we've noticed is that players and coaching staff want to play... We are expecting a difficult game.

How is the team when there are two games left to play [Liga NOS] and the Portuguese Cup final?

The team is extremely focused. They are approaching these matches with that characteristic seriousness. Regarding this game against Aves, the commitment is the same as against Vitoria de Guimarães, Famalicão, Boavista and all the others... We know beforehand that, after the game against Aves, we will have more complex games against Sporting and FC Porto.
