Pizzi: "It's a final, and the finals, at Benfica, are to win"

In an interview with RTP, Pizzi previewed the Portuguese Cup final "clássico" against FC Porto, which will be played at 8:45 pm on Saturday, August 1, at the Estádio Cidade de Coimbra.

In the 2019/20 season, the midfielder has carried out 50 matches with an eagle on his chest and scored 30 goals, 19 of which in the National Championship, where he was the king of assists with 14 goal assists.

The team is always the most important thing

"Statistically, and speaking of me, the numbers are there for all to see, it was a very productive season for me, in terms of goals and assists. The most important thing, in my opinion, is always the team, and things did not go the way we wanted. And that makes me very sad."

Only one thought: lift the Cup

"The most important game of the season is always the next. It's a final, and the finals, at Benfica, are to win. We're defending a great club, with a lot of history. The Cup is always a special trophy, this year under very special conditions, without the fans' celebration at Jamor, which is always very beautiful. As a team, we are focused, our thought is only one, which is to win and lift the Portuguese Cup trophy."
