Franculino Gluda Djú, a 16-year-old (28/06/2004), penned a professional contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

 A U-17- player, he arrived at the Club coming from CD Olivais e Moscavide and will now carry out his second season with an eagle on his chest.

An enriching visit

Ruy Castelo Branco, director of the Benfica Residential Academy, and Adriano Laaber, coach of the Benfica Residential Academy women's team, visited the Benfica Campus on Tuesday, May 20, where they had the opportunity to follow the daily activities. "The main objective of the academy is to develop the athlete with the Benfica methodology and combine the academic part with the athletic part," Ruy Castelo Branco told BTV. “Feeling and experiencing this on a daily basis, especially the energy of the Benfica Campus, is enriching,” he said, noting that the goal is to continue cementing the Club's values in the United States.
