After the successful start in Famalicão, the Estádio da Luz hosts the Matchday 2 of the Liga NOS. The eagles will face Moreirense on Saturday, at 6:30 pm (Sep 26). 

What is your analysis to Moreirense?

Moreirense didn’t lose at Estádio da Luz in the last couple of years. It’s a competitive team, with strong arguments, but we also have ours and we want give continuity to the brilliant we had in Famalicão. We’re improving week after week, and we’ll do better, for sure, than we did in Famalicão.

What do you expect from this opponent at Estádio da Luz?

From what we know about Moreirense, from what we saw in the preseason, and the last league match against Benfica (1-1), is a very organized team. Obviously, due to our quality and game plan, we'll force them to play much more time in their midfield, and they will try to take advantage from the counter-attacking plays and the free-kicks. We’ll be ready for that.

How can Benfica still improve?

The team is improving week after week due to the players’ quality and work. I’m sure the players will grow much more individually and, consequently, the team will also grow. We still don’t have the collective defensive ideas together. Offensively, the team has been improving, better than defensively. When we have talented players everything becomes easier.
