The young footballer Ronaldo Camará features in the English newspaper "The Guardian". The SL Benfica attacking midfielder appears as one of the 60 best talents in the feature "The Next Generation 2020".

Aged 17 (05.01.2003), Ronaldo Camará stands out, in the analysis made by the English newspaper , for "a lot technical quality" and for "excellent passing", skills that may "increase his impact in the last third of the field".

Ronaldo Camará is currently in the eagles' B team, where he has already scored two goals in the four matches held this season. He also made one appearance for the U-23s in the current season.

A skill test topped off with a good mood

Christy Ucheibe, Joana Silva, Francisco Neto and João Veloso, players from Benfica's women's team and B team respectively, put their skills to the test in a skill challenge, in which the good mood and relaxation of the moment prevailed. At Benfica Campus, the challenge consisted of the footballers, in pairs, and in a series of 10 shots/passes by each participant, scoring goals in four mini-goals, worth points depending on the degree of difficulty, i.e. the distance to the target. Monday marked the start of the pre-season work of Sport Lisboa e Benfica's B team in preparation for the 2022/23 season. The usual medical exams, evaluations - nutrition, physiotherapy and psychology - and physical tests took place throughout the morning of this Monday, June 27, between Hospital da Luz and Benfica Campus.

Training match at Seixal

Benfica's first team held this Friday morning, at Campo n. º 1 of Benfica Campus, Seixal, a training session against the B team. The team coached by Nélson Veríssimo played with the following starting lineup: Helton Leite, Gilberto, Pedro Álvaro, Morato, André Almeida, Zan Jevsenak, Meïte, João Mário, Gil Dias, Diogo Gonçalves and Yaremchuk. The final score was 4-0 and the goals were scored by Yaremchuk (2), Diogo Gonçalves and Seferovic, who played for about 15 minutes.
