The behavior occurred in Benfica's recent visit to Famalicão's home ground in the semi-finals of the 2019/20 Portuguese Cup.

Christy Ucheibe, a player from Benfica's women's football team, was the target of racist demonstrations in the match from the 2019/20 Portuguese Cup semi-final, in Famalicão, last Wednesday, October 14.
Reported in the Benfica News this Thursday, that "regrettable behavior" was the negative face of a game that should be essentially a celebration.
On the pitch, Benfica beat Famalicão (1-2 with goals from Nycole and Cloé Lacasse)and sealed the passport for the final of the 2019/20 Portuguese Cup – a competition in which the eagles are the current trophy holder.
